Smallholder Family Farming
Within 2025 we foresee starting a project for smallholder farmer families. A total of 238 aspiring farmers will be targeted, whereas 138 will start with broiler breeding and another 100 with catfish breeding.
 
Practical and theoretical training courses will be done at our farm and Cluster Farming’s workforce will be expanded with a team of extension officers, additional marketing and sales staff and trainers.
 
Each smallholder broiler farm is expected to grow respectively 1,600 broilers per year in 16 cycles (100 broilers per cycle) and each smallholder catfish farm 1,800 catfish per year in 12 cycles (150 catfish per cycle).
 
This adds up to 220,800 broilers and 180,000 catfish produced by all farms.
