CFH is built by a practical and committed team with experience in business development, supply chain management, aquaculture, poultry, marketing, sales and farmer training. We believe in participation and collaboration, and we value the mix of experience, competencies and cultural backgrounds within our workforce.
Together, our team combines international experience with local knowledge and hands-on farming expertise. Each person contributes practical skills that support CFH’s work in catfish production, broiler production, farmer guidance, market access and daily operations.

Gerrit Valkenburg
Founder and Director Gerrit is a constructional engineer and entrepreneur with close to 24 years of experience in Africa. His business philosophy is rooted in sustainability and practical development. At CFH, he guides the vision of bringing small-scale farmers together in commercially viable farming clusters.

Maurice Valkenburg
Supply Chain Manager and Director
Maurice is a certified supply chain expert with more than 30 years of experience, including 13 years in Africa. His background covers food procurement, warehousing, distribution, marketing, HACCP-controlled cold storage and commercial sales. He also brings practical experience in chick hatchery management and catfish breeding.

Hatching / Breeding Master - African catfish Gladys is a hands-on aquaculture professional with practical knowledge of sustainable production systems. She brings strong communication skills, a direct working style and a logical approach to daily operations. At CFH, she supports the catfish operation and helps keep production work focused and reliable.

Christopher Ampong
Marketing and Sales Lead Ghana / ECOWAS Christopher is a motivated marketer with broad experience in direct sales. His communication skills and ability to build a team of sales representatives support CFH’s market-focused approach. As a small-scale poultry farmer himself, he also understands the practical realities of farming from the farmer’s perspective.

Broiler Supervisor / Trainer John is an experienced poultry specialist with expertise in both broilers and layers, supported by a strong background in mathematical teaching. He enjoys sharing knowledge and working with people. At CFH, he contributes to broiler supervision and farmer training, helping smallholder poultry farmers develop the skills and confidence to move forward.
